Fellowship

  • The fellowship proposal must adhere to the accepted format and include the candidate's name, affiliation, publishing history, contributions to environmentally friendly plant protection and production, support for farmers, students, and academics; honors, awards, and patent details, among others.
  • Additionally, it must feature a statement from the proposer lauding the candidate's exceptional contributions to the field.
  • A supplementary declaration attached to this form may include a list of the candidate's scientific publications.
  • Upon admission to the Fellowship, each Fellow will receive written notification within three months of initial communication.
  • They must then submit the signed obligation form, duly signed, along with annual and admission fees.
  • Failure to do so will render the admission invalid.
  • Any person or organization from Asia Pacific Region or any other continent are considered fellow members.
  • A nominee for Fellowship may submit a nomination for another individual after three years of continuous service to the society.
  • Upon approval by the society, a Fellow may append FBpAI to their name.
  • These guidelines ensure a structured process for nominating and admitting Fellows, maintaining transparency and accountability within the society's membership framework.

  • Any Fellow of the Society may nominate an individual esteemed for their significant contributions to the field of biopesticide science to be considered for election as an Honorary Fellow.
  • The nomination must be accompanied by a factual statement supporting the nominee's achievements and must be submitted in writing.
  • The Council of InABP grants honorary fellowship to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the advancement of biopesticides.
  • Preference is given to nominees residing in different continents or within the Asia Pacific region, with priority given to individuals from the Asian region.
